OUR STORY
Leadership development is more than what I do—it’s what drives me.
For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with thousands of leaders—at every level, in organizations of all sizes and industries across the United States. Each leader brings unique talents and challenges, yet I’ve discovered a common thread among them: the tipping point between potential and performance, between capability and true impact.
Across most organizations, a significant and costly gap exists in leadership development. Employees crave leaders who are not just competent, but inspiring—leaders genuinely committed to their people’s success. And the truth is, organizations rise or fall on the strength of those at the helm.
Yet few of us are ever taught the mindset, skills, and habits of highly effective leadership. Schools rarely teach it. Technical training prepares us for tasks, not teams. More often than not, leadership becomes a lonely journey of trial and error—one marked by frustration, missteps, and uncertainty. Because leading people is hard—far harder than becoming a technical expert.

Suzanne Thompson, an Industrial/Organizational psychologist with over 25 years of experience, specializes in leadership development, executive coaching, organizational development, employee engagement, and performance management. In 2025, she founded Catalyst Coaching Solutions to fully dedicate herself to what she considers her true purpose and passion—helping leaders grow and succeed through coaching.
With years of coaching and consulting experience, Suzanne has earned a reputation as a trusted partner who is deeply committed to her clients’ personal and professional growth. Known as an empathetic truth-teller, she blends compassion and encouragement with straightforward honesty—an approach her clients deeply value.
Suzanne has worked with leaders at every level—from front-line managers taking their first steps into leadership to seasoned executives in the C-Suite. Her expertise spans both external and internal consulting roles, partnering with organizations across the public and private sectors as well as government agencies.
